Sikkim is situated in Eastern Himalayas spreading below Mount Kanchenjunga. DAY 01 Arrive New Jalpaiguri and transfer to Darjeeling hote. Rest of the day at leisure followed by overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 02 After breakfast in the morning proceed to your Darjeeling sight seeing experience. Darjeeling is the Hill station of west Bengal and one of the most famous Hill Resorts in India. Darjeeling has a number of famous tourist places including Tea garden, Toy train, Senchal Lake near Tiger Hill, and Dhirdham Temple resembling the famous Pashupatinath Temple of Katmandu. Later proceed to Bhutia Gusty Ghompa, a Phodang Monastery in Sikkim transferred to Darjeeling in 1879. The shrine here originally stood on Observatory Hill. Overnight stay at the hotel. .
DAY 03 On the third day of the tour, an early morning visit to the Tiger Hill for the spectacular site of sunrise, a speciality of this place. Afterwards, proceed to other popular places like Batasia Loop and Passenger Ropweway. Post lunch; leave for Gangtok and on arrival check-in at a resort for overnight stay.
DAY 04 Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim, sitting on the lap of Himalayas. A perfect Honeymoon destination, Gangtok offers lots of places for visiting including the Ganesh tok, the famous temple of Ganesha. Later visit Nathula, 56 km. from Gangtok, situated on the border between India and china plateaus. Water Garden at Martam Khola on National Highway are also must-visits. A short shopping trip to Handloom and Handicrafts centres followed by visit to the Government Institute of Cottage industries and Sanga choling monastery.
DAY 05 After breakfast visit to Tsongo Lake, the famous Lake of Gangtok. It is 15 meters deep and about 1 km. long. This oval shaped lake remains frozen during winters and between May to August various kinds of flowers bloom alongside the lake. Over night stay at hotel.
DAY 06 Post breakfast leave Gangtok and move for Kalimpong. Kalimpong is situated on the border of Tibet-Bhutan-Sikkim border on eastern part of the Himalayas. Kalimpong's attractions include three Buddhist monasteries. Dr. Graham's House is also popular, founded in1900 and spread over a 500 acre estate complete with own dairy, poultry and bakery. Durpin Dhara is the highest point in Kalimpong. Mangal Dham is a recently constructed place of worship and a marvellous piece of architecture. Wrap-up your tour by visiting some other places also like Flower Nurseries, Pedong Monster and Gauripur House etc.
DAY 07 Morning transfer to the railway station to board Rail to your onward/return journey with sweet memories of your Honeymoon tour.
